Tyler Rich Has a Poignant Reflection Of 9/11

There’s a lot going on in Tyler Rich’s life right now. His 4-song EP drops a week from Friday, he’s got marriage plans and a tour with Brett Young to get ready for. But the Yuba City native still took a moment this morning to remember the victims of 9/11, partly because of what his mom does for a living. Well put and well done, Tyler.

My mom has been a flight attendant for United Airlines for as long as I can remember. I will never forget coming down the stairs in the morning and seeing her sitting 2 feet from the TV just sobbing.. that was the day the world changed. The day my perspective on life and taking things for granted changed. The day I started hugging my mom harder before she left on her trips. One senseless act of hate took the lives, and ripped apart the families, of roughly 3000 innocent people.. I can’t believe it’s been 17 years. 😞 9/11 should always be a day that we are reminded to never take time with our friends and family for granted. Go and hug somebody harder today. ❤️
