There aren’t too many details at the moment but we will of course update you as they come in. For the time being we know that there were evacuation orders issued for the Riviera West area of Lake County. This is the west part of Clearlake.
The wildfire, named the Golf Fire, was last told to us that it was near Soda Bay Road and Golf Drive and is just about 15 acres.
The sheriff’s department is telling people that are evacuating to head south.
A shelter is being set up at Kelseyville High School, at 5480 Main Street.
Please stay safe and heed the evacuation warnings!
