Mason Ramsey, famously known as “Walmart boy,” released his first original single, “Famous.” It’s actually pretty good!

It’s been a steady climb to recognition for Mason after a video of him yodeling in Walmart went viral. He was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (as expected) and even performed at Coachella.

There’s a good reason that “Famous” sounds pretty darn good: there are big names involved behind the scenes. The song was co-written by Florida Georgia Line, Corey Crowder, Sarah Buxton and Canaan Smith with producer Joey Moi.

According to the Boot, Mason said in a press release:

“I’d been to Nashville a few times before, but never thought something like this would happen. It’s a dream to sign with Atlantic and Big Loud. I loved recording ‘Famous’ and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
