As a child you always strive to make your parents proud. But as we grow up and become parents, it then turns around and we always strive to make our children proud. Carrie Underwood was singing the National Anthem at her husband’s playoff game (he plays for the Predators), and the person watching their son took a video of his reaction while she sings the National Anthem at the game.

As a child, I wanted nothing more than to make my parents proud of me…and now, as a mother, I want to make my child proud… He never really gets to see me sing because he’s in bed before I go on stage, but last night he was there to watch his daddy play…and he also got see his mommy sing for a minute.
