Mason Ramsey recently showed off more of his singing abilities, trying his hand at a variety of different music genres. While critics may believe the eleven-year-old singing phenom is merely a product of viral fame, Ramsey has proven his talents extend beyond his trademark yodeling.

According to Taste of Country, Ramsey was invited by Billboard to flex his vocal chops in a showcase celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Hot 100 Songs chart. The young star took on a variety of hits spanning the decades, including the Monkees’ “I’m a Believer”, Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”, and even Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”. Ramsey admitted, “I’ve got a girly voice,” when explaining his choice of a majority of female-led songs. Additionally, the pint-sized, country crooner performed his way through renditions of the Whitney Houston hit, “I Will Always Love You”, Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies”, and then closed out the show with his own new song, “Famous”.

Many fans of Ramsey were first exposed to the eleven-year-old star when a video of him yodeling in the aisles of a Walmart went viral and exploded the boy into the spotlight earlier this year.  Since then, Ramsey has appeared at the Radio Disney Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and even as a guest feature at Southern California’s Coachella music festival.
