Willie Nelson is coming out with a new album! His upcoming album, Last Man Standing, releases on April 27, two days before his 85th birthday.
The album will have 11 songs. All songs were co-written by Willie and his longtime producer Buddy Cannon. Willie paired the announcement with the release of the title track.
According to the Boot, the song is a tongue-in-cheek response to the concern surrounding Willie’s health as of late. Especially because of the cancellation of quite a few of his shows due to illnesses as of late. Most recently, Willie canceled all his shows in February because of a bad case of the flu. He’s reportedly doing well now.
