The moral of this blog is NOPE. That’s it, just a big ol’ nope. A Tennessee woman woke up experiencing arm pain and bumps on her chest and arms. After getting some meds, she went back home and eventually started hallucinating. She made it to the emergency room where she discovered she’d been bitten by a brown recluse spider.
According to ABC 13, the woman notified her landlord who then came and sprayed her apartment. But, she said, “We were finding brown recluses left and right, in our bed, in the ceiling, in the iron, in her shoe,” said Wright.
Again, NOPE. The landlord reportedly told her that they’d never get rid of them because it’s just part of living in Tennessee.
Additionally, she was told she could terminate her lease early, but would have to pay $2,200. I mean, let’s be real. Her apartment is now spiders’ apartment. The only thing she can do it move.
So, if this story is real and there are indeed dozens of brown recluse spiders in the Tennessee apartment, hopefully the publicity will get her out of paying the money.
Regardless of what happens, this story is my absolute nightmare. Would you stay in the apartment or pay the money?
