Keep your eye on the ball, and apparently the hot dog.   Kathy McVay is a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan.  She was sitting behind home plate watching her Phillies play the Cardinals when here came the Philly Phanatic (the Phillies mascot).  He was on the back of a golf cart aiming his Hot Dog Cannon into the crowd.  Hot Dogs wrapped in duct tape were flying everywhere.  And as nbc10philadelphia.com reports, Kathy McVay took a sausage and bun to the face.  “Bam!  It hit me like a ton of bricks,” she said.   Kathy’s glasses went flying and down she went.  She was taken to the emergency room to make sure that she didn’t have a concussion.  Kathy says she’s fine, just a little bruising.  Kathy’s a Philly girl and our own Philly girl, Cody, says Philly girls are tough!  Cody’s right.  Kathy says she’ll be right back behind home plate watching her Phillies (although she’s thinking maybe the nosebleed seats aren’t so bad)   See Kathy talking about how it happened below.
