Two young boys, best friends, were riding their bikes when something important caught their attention. They were riding by a cemetery and saw a funeral procession for a military veteran. What caught their eye was an Amercian Flag being folded to honor 89 year old Charles Everett Yorn. Without saying a word to each other the boys stopped, jumped off their bikes, and stood silently. “To see these two young boys immediately stop and pay their respects to a passed serviceman, without any prompting or knowledge of anyone watching was just so touching to see.” Those are the words of Jacqi Hornbach who was standing across the street. She was so touched by the boys gesture that she took a picture of them standing side by side. As taps started to play the boys, “both stood with arms behind their backs, silently, the entire time,” said Hornbach. Jacqi posted the picture of the boys online because she said with all the negative things going on in the world that this was needed. The boys remained standing silently during the 21 gun salute. Then they got on their bikes and rode away. The moment has gone viral with many commenting how special these 2 boys are. So are their parents, their grandparents, and their families. #bethegood
