Brett Young announced that he’s engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Taylor Mills. The two met when they were college students.

Brett Young proposed to his college girlfriend, Taylor Mills!
The two met when Brett was attending Ole Miss in Mississippi and Taylor was a student at Arizona State University. He proposed at the Graduate Hotel in Oxford, Mississippi, near his college. The couple is planning on having the wedding where they met in Arizona. The country star told People Magazine:
“I thought it would be romantic to propose where I went to school. We were able to get a suite with a large covered patio. The hospitality staff at the hotel set it up while we were at dinner, so it was waiting for us when we got back.”
The two dated for six years, then broke up when Brett moved to Nashville, where they reconnected:
“There was never any bad blood. It was just the wrong time for us. We recently got back in touch and realized that we were both finally in the same place and knew it was right.”
No news yet on when they plan on having the wedding.
