Casa Ramos Restaurants Across Northern California Closed By State Raid

Just a heads up. If you were planning to have lunch at Casa Ramos Mexican Restaurant today you might want to make other plans.  The state Department of Justice issued search warrants at all 14 Northen California locations temporarily closing them.  According to sacbee.com this investigation goes as high up as the state attorney general’s office.

So what gives?  None of the agencies involved are allowed to comment.

Of the 14 Casa Ramos locations in NorCal, 6 are in greater Sacramento:  Lincoln, Rancho Cordova, Natomas, Placerville, Folsom and El Dorado Hills.  Only the Placerville location was open on Wednesday and no word as to whether they will be open today.
