On Jan. 28, Carrie Underwood admitted she got pulled over by the cops for the first time.

She wrote on Twitter:

“Well, it happened today. After 18 years, I can no longer say I’ve never been pulled over for speeding. I feel so ashamed! I may or may not have cried in my car after the cop let me go.”

The police dashcam footage of the event has surfaced. Carrie could not be more polite in the interaction. She also definitely seems nervous and genuinely apologetic!

The officer walks up to her car asking, “What’s the big hurry, ma’am?” To which she replies, “I wasn’t even paying attention. I know that’s no excuse.”

The cop let her go with a verbal warning, so Carrie didn’t take home a ticket, reports Taste of Country. If she cried in her car after getting a warning, then it’s a good thing she didn’t get a ticket!
