Szechuan Sauce Is Back At McDonald’s Next Week
This time the sauce will be available everywhere and there will be a lot more of it to go around.

Last year, McDonald’s brought back Szechuan Sauce. People love the stuff, and it’s grown even more in popularity because of the show Rick & Morty. But the fast food chain grossly underestimated the popularity of the promotion.
People waited in line for hours to get the sauce, and were turned away when the small supplies ran out. Some employees were even captured on film making fun of disappointed customers.

So, in order to make up for last time, they are releasing 20 million packets of the sauce. They will be distributed nationwide on February 26th and sold until they run out.

I truly don’t think McDonald’s fully anticipated such a strong response to the Szechuan Sauce. In fact, they’ve created a podcast and website dedicated to the fascination people have for it.
