Crash On San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Kills Toll Worker

Wow. This is just heartbreaking. A crash on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge claimed the life of California Department of Transportation employee Si Si Han on Saturday morning.

The cause of the accident is not yet certain, although it’s believed to not be intentional, but Han was killed inside of the toll booth. According to the Sacramento Bee, a box truck hit multiple vehicles before hitting the boot.

Additionally, the driver and a passenger also suffered serious injuries after they were ejected from the truck.

Han was 46 years old and had worked with CalTrans for more than a decade. She was married and had a 10-year-old daughter.
