Taylor Swift Has First Hot Country Songs Hit In Over 4 Years

Taylor Swift is on the country charts once again!

Billboard has reported that the pop singer’s latest single, “New Year’s Day,” has debuted at No. 40 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

The last time Swift debuted on this chart was back in 2013 with her collaboration with Tim McGraw, “Highway Don’t Care,” which reached No. 4.

“New Year’s Day” also extends her record in the top 10 of the Country Digital Songs Sales chart, being her 33rd hit. The next closest is Blake Shelton, who has 25.
