Midland paid homage to the 1980 film Urban Cowboy for the “Burn Out” video, which is out tomorrow, May 18.
The boys headed to Fort Worth, Texas to to film in the same Billy Bob’s as featured in the movie, reports Taste of Country. Frontman Mark Wystrach says in the sneak peek video:
“Every one of our heroes is on the walls. It’s the biggest honky-tonk that has this kind of history to it. It’s so cool that they’re letting us do this here.”

“In 1980 one of our favorite movies, ‘Urban Cowboy’ was released, on this coming Friday we’re releasing our tribute to that cinematic masterpiece with our new music video for our single ‘Burn Out’. Here is a behind scenes look at the shoot. Hope y’all enjoy but more importantly we hope that we make Bud and Sissy proud.”
