Carrie Underwood Hospitalized Over The Weekend For A Broken Wrist

She had to miss a festival appearance on Sunday due to her injuries.

Carrie Underwood was hospitalized over the weekend after she fell outside of her home. According to Entertainment Tonight, she broke her wrist and sustained other bruises and abrasions due to the tumble. She also missed an appearance at Sunday’s Country Rising Festival due to her injuries.

Her husband, Mike Fisher, was able to fly back home to be by her side. Her rep said her recovery will take some time and she tweeted out the following message to fans:

Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.
