Dierks Bentley Busted, Fined
He was reported by his own Instagram followers

While Dierks Bentley was in Colorado for his Seven Peaks Festival this past weekend, he took a little time off to go fishing. And he did pretty well, posting a pic of this beautiful brown trout on his Instagram account. There was just one problem…
…Dierks didn’t have a license, and he got caught.
Apparently, after Dierks posted the above picture, Colorado Fish and Game received several inquiries as to whether or not Dierks had purchased a fishing license. A spokesperson for the department said an officer spotted walking in the town of Buena Vista and approached him. According to eyewitnesses, a crowd started to gather and so Bentley climbed into the officer’s truck for more privacy.
Later, he released a video to Twitter (which you can see below via Denver news outlet CBSDenver) and tagged his buddies Hardy and some guy named Luke Bryan, who’d also been fishing with Dierks earlier in the weekend(because neither posted photos of themselves actually holding fish, it’s unlikely they will be charged with anything).

Dierks was fined $139.95 and, according to the Fish and Game spokesperson, was very cooperative and gracious.
Dierks, by the way, plays Wheatland this Sunday with Jon Pardi.
