It’s basically the day every country artist dreams of—being invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. And yesterday, August 21, it happened for Dustin Lynch!
Dustin was playing a set for Trace Adkins’ 15th anniversary when Trace interrupted him mid-set. But, it was for good cause. Trace told Dustin that after six years of playing the famous venue, the next time he did would be as an official member. So, what was Dustin’s response? He took off his hat, hugged Trace and said, “I wish you weren’t so big. I wanted to pick you up.”
