A man escaping the Southern California wildfires is now being called a hero after he helped rescue a scared rabbit…
According to Distractify, an unknown man in Ventura County did something amazing while driving down Highway 1 with other fleeing resident.
Although the fires were dangerously close to the road, the man pulled over to save a terrified wild rabbit.

While the animal avoided his help at first, the man quickly got a hold of him and brought him to safety.
The entire incident was caught by a passing news crew, but the man declined doing an interview. However, that hasn’t stopped the internet from celebrating his actions!
