Mom In Hot Water After Children Ate Her ‘Gummies’
A mother got busted after her kids had some of her edible marijuana gummy candies, and the kids say the mom gave the candy to them.

This mom got busted after her kids got into her pot-candy. We’re assuming that the children thought they were just regular gummy candies. But according to the police report, the mom gave the kids the candies.
The woman’s two kids are just 9 and 3 years old. The 9-year-old said that their mom gives them the gummy bears to help them calm down. What’s more, the 9-year-old actually has some sort of a prescription to calm him down. He said that the mom gives him an edible instead of that medicine. He also said that the mother, Jessica, gave the 3-year-old half of a gummy bear to “help her sleep.” He said it made the toddler lethargic and “unsteady.” Jessica took the children to her own mother’s house, presumably for care during the day.
When they got there, the grandmother noticed something was wrong with the 3-year-old, and mentioned it to Jessica. Jessica said that the 3-year-old “got into my gummies.” Grandma wanted to get the kids to a hospital, but Jessica disagreed. That’s when grandma called 911, and apparently Jessica wasn’t happy about that. She was heard screaming and yelling in the background of the call, apparently. The police report says that Jessica says the children ate the the gummies while she was showering. The toddler tested positive for THC, but will be just fine. Jessica was charged with “risk of injury to a child,” and the kids are staying with a family member. Source.
