North Sac CHP Officer Goes Above And Beyond To Return Lost Stuffed Animal

When you were a kid did your parents ever yell at you for sticking stuff out of the car window? Wait, was that just me? A little girl lost her stuffed animal on I-80 near Antelope last Wednesday. The “dog” named Toffee hit the pavement and was gone. When they got home the family sent a message to the North Sacramento CHP office. At 7:30 the next morning CHP Officer McTaggart found Toffee in the area where he was last seen. Toffee lost a leg in the incident but as the CHP facebook post says gained some service animal friends.
