That Time Nashville In The Neighborhood Star Russell Dickerson Played Our Lounge

By kncitom on January 7, 2019

We’ve announced the line-up for the next Nashville in the Neighborhood!

The Eli Young Band and Russell Dickerson will perform at The Grounds in Roseville on February 6th, and tickets are again a very affordable $25 ($75 VIP) and available right now on our website’s main page.

KNCI listeners have had a couple opportunities to see the Eli Young Band over the years: in 2010 they opened for Dierks Bentley at Country in the Park (the year it was Country in Downtown In front Of the Capital) and again just a few years ago at the Placer County Fairgrounds for a Country Uncorked event. They’re seasoned pros, with huge hits like “Crazy Girl” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and are guaranteed to put on a great show.

Dickerson, meanwhile, is one of country’s hottest young up-n-comers, with two bona-fide hit singles under his belt, “Yours” and “Blue Tacoma”. He’s set to go out on tour with breakout star Carly Pearce (who played our Camp Fire benefit show in December) and recently made national country music headlines when he stopped a fight mid-concert (caution: some mildly nsfw language and the potential to become addicted to the phrase “Absolutely Not!”

For a better example, however, of Russell ability to perform live without needing to provide his own security, look no further than the video below from just about five months ago, when he stopped by the KNCI Lounge and performed before a group of listeners (If you want to skip the Q&A, fast forward right to about the 9:45 mark…then go buy your tickets on our main page!)
