A Man Is Suing Popeyes for Running Out of Chicken Sandwiches

Well in sue happy America, I’m not shocked at all to hear about this!

A Tennessee man has filed a claim against Popeye’s in Hamilton County General Sessions Court. Craig Barr says he’s suing the eatery for “false advertising and deceptive business practices by entity to public.” He goes on to say, “Countless time wasted driving to and from Popeyes. No chicken sandwich. Was told to come back this day — still no sandwich.”

Craig even answered an online ad where he said a Popeye’s employee promised to give him a chicken sandwich for $24. Barr says he paid the employee the money, but never received the sandwich.

Barr is suing the company for $5000.

Popeye’s was reached for comment, however said that they do not comment on ongoing litigation.
