Broadway Comics And Cards Closing After 30 Years

On January 10, Broadway Comics and Cards will close up shop, just shy of their 30th anniversary. The owner cited rising rent and stagnant sales as the reason for the closure.
Owner Wilson Lew wrote told the Sacramento Bee that he will continue to sell on the web. He added that he has also lost customers to cheaper internet options.
Until Broadway Comics and Cards closes, back-issue comics will sell at half price, graphic novels are 40 percent off and merchandise is 20 percent off.
