Carrie Underwood donated $10,000 to the GoFundMe page of a police officer from her hometown in Oklahoma that she used to know from her childhood.

Carrie Underwood donated $10,000 to the GoFundMe page of police officer from her hometown in Checotah, Oklahoma.
Assistant Police Chief Justin Durrett’s truck slipped off the road crashed on Feb. 11. He ejected from his car and it landed on him, resulting in many severe injuries. He’s currently still in the Intensive Care Unit and can’t feel anything from his chest down, according to Fox News.
Carrie and Justin are reportedly childhood friends and used to attend church together. Her generous donation is helping cover Justin’s medical bills. She donated as Carrie Fisher. His GoFundMe page has hit a little over $13,000 and is getting closer to the $20,000 goal.
