While currently enjoying and celebrating her current pregnancy, Carrie Underwood has also shared the difficulties that have come with this second pregnancy.
According to Taste of Country, Underwood admitted some of these challenges in an interview at the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year Event in Nashville Wednesday (Oct. 17). In the interview, she revealed that this second pregnancy has brought an entire different set of symptoms than her first.
“It’s definitely different than the first one,” she explained. “Just different symptoms,” Underwood added. “I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good.”
Underwood also shared the joy that she and her family have about the new addition to the family. She talked about how her 3-year-old son, Isaiah, is excited to become an older brother. However, Isaiah also reportedly announced that he will not help change any “poopy diapers”.
Underwood has been praised for her openness and honesty about her struggles, as well as her strength and bravery for overcoming the heartbreaking journey that has led to the joy of this new pregnancy.
