Cassadee Pope Tried Dating Apps Before Finding Current Boyfriend

Cassadee Pope and her new boyfriend, actor and musician Sam Palladio, officially announced their relationship on Instagram.
The two have been hinting at a relationship, but finally confirmed the rumors on Mar. 25. They attended Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd’s wedding together.
Cassadee told Taste of Country that she and Sam decided on a dog park first date:
“It was December of last year. We decided we’d take our dogs to the dog park and hang out at the dog park and we hit it off … for now. I don’t know, it’s so new!”
Cassadee’s French bulldog, Cuppy, and Sam’s Whippet, River, got also along great!
Sam and Cassadee started dating five months after she broke up with her longtime boyfriend, All Time Low’s Rian Dawson. They broke off their engagement.
The Voice alum admits that she spent some time on the dating app Raya, which helped her with her confidence. Her last relationship started at 18, so she needed some help figuring out the dating scene as an adult. She said:
“When you get out of a relationship you’re like, ‘Will I ever find somebody again?’ And you kind of think this irrational thought like, ‘I’m never gonna find anybody.’ The dating app was silly, but fun. More than anything, it felt good to be desired.”
