Charges Against Gretchen Wilson in the Airport Arrest Have Been Dropped

Gretchen Wilson has dodged a potential criminal case in her recent arrest.

The 45-year-old “Redneck Woman” singer was arrested on Aug. 21 at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. She was first charged with breach of peace after police received a call about a “minor disturbance” on her flight.

While talking to Wilson on the jetway, she “became belligerent toward the troopers and caused a disturbance,” a report says. The Associated Press states that Wilson has agreed to donate $500 to a fund for injured crime victims in exchange for the charges being dropped
