Clueless Is Getting A Reboot—’It’ll Be A New Take On The Classic’

Here’s an idea, just let a classic be a classic. We don’t need a reboot of Clueless. Be inspired by the movie but make a new one. It’s probably pretty clear where I stand on this. And according to KOMO News, it won’t be a remake, but a new take. But still, why?

The original Clueless was released in 1995 and starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash and Paul Rudd, among others. “Girls Trip” write Tracy Oliver is taking on the project.

It is still super early in the development, so not much else is know. No one has been cast yet. But Marquita Robinson will be writing the script. And she did write episodes of “GLOW” and “New Girl,” which I liked.

So, maybe I shouldn’t jump the gun and give it a chance. But, I’m still going to complain. How do you feel about the reboot?
