Cody Johnson Will Sing The National Anthem At Tonight’s World Series Game (Video)

One of the most vocally challenging songs you can sing is our National Anthem. Ask any singer. Now add to that a packed stadium and millions of people watching on tv. Tonight before game 7 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals (it’s win or go home), that challenge and honor goes to Cody Johnson. Cody grew up an hour from Houston so he’s an Astros fan. He’s sung at a few of their games before but nothing this big. Cody says’s he’s bringing his lucky Astros hat (which of course he’ll patriotically remove before he sings the anthem). Coverage of the game starts at 5pm on Fox40. Tune in early to catch Cody.
