Dierks Bentley is a licensed pilot but we’re not sure if he was in the cockpit when he flew into Nashville last night just an hour or so before the deadly tornado outbreak that left at least 20 people dead. Early Tuesday morning he tweeted the following, along with video of the storm as it was still gathering strength
We ducked around this cell and landed at john tune airport around 11:30 last night. Glad we landed when we did. Wouldn’t have been good an hour later. It was the cell that turned into the tornado. Lot of people lost their homes. No one comes together as a city like Nashville does pic.twitter.com/qvCjrYNu0x

That’s some scary stuff. If you’d like to help the people of Nashville, there are many ways to do it, including contributing to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund or through the Paypal account of the Music City Inc foundation at donate@visitmusiccity.com
