It looks like Dierks Bentley is planning to add television producer to his resume.
According to Variety, the country music star is set to be attached as an executive producer for a new single-camera comedy. This new comedy series has been ordered a pilot by Fox, with no official release date set at the moment.
The show will reportedly have a country theme and atmosphere, taking place in a Nashville bar. Various singers and songwriters will supposedly shuffle through this bar in the series, as they attempt to make it big in the country music scene. Some will reportedly be chasing their dreams, and others might just be chasing love in the Nashville bar.
The series is another project from the mind of writer and executive producer, Jack Burditt. Burditt was the original showrunner and creator of Last Man Standing. His other credits include hits such as Modern Family, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Mindy Project.
