Um wow, if you’ve ever wanted to go to the happiest place on Earth, now it will be on an island in the Bahamas!

Like Disney’s first private island Castaway Cay, Lighthouse Point will be an exclusive port for Disney Cruise Line ships. Disney hopes oto have Lighthouse Point ready for their Cruise Line guests by late 2022 or early 2023.

Lighthouse Point is located on the “island of Eleuthera and will pay homage to Caribbean music, art, and food while highlighting conservation efforts through the Disney Conservation Fund.” Imagineer Joe Rohde—who designed Animal Kingdom, as well as multiple World Showcase pavilions in Epcot and Auliani resort in Hawaii—will be designing this new project.

“The Bahamas offers a fascinating multicultural tradition of food, music, dance, and storytelling,” Rohde said in a press release. “Eleuthera, in particular, is home to many artists, and we will be working with painters, sculptors, writers, storytellers, musicians, weavers, and artists of every kind, much like we did with Aulani in Hawaii, to create a completely unique experience that is rooted in Bahamian culture and imbued with Disney magic.”

I honestly have no idea what the cost will be, however I don’t know if I care. I’ll just start saving now thank you very much!
