This Disneyland Attraction Was Shut Down For Good Today To Make Room For New Marvel Land

If you’re a Disneyland fan and you enjoyed “a bug’s land,” I hope you recently made a trip to enjoy it. Because as of today, the California Adventure attraction is donezo. According to the OCR, Tuesday was the last day for fans to visit a bug’s land. The area is being demolished in order to make room for a new Marvel land, which is slated to open in 2020.
There isn’t really info about the new Marvel attractions, just that one will be Spider Man related. I’m totally here for a Captain America ride though, if I am being honest. Loves me some Steve Rogers.
Now, if you’re a big fan of the bug’s land, some of the features are getting new homes. Filk’s Flyers is being refashioned as an “Inside Out” ride. Parts of Heimlich’s Chew Chew Trains will go to the Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo and Pretend City Children’s Museum. Plus, other pieces will go to various organizations in Anaheim and OC.
According to the OCR, there weren’t a lot of people there for the land’s last day. So, maybe it won’t be that missed. What do you think? Are you more of a fan of a bug’s land or are you ready to welcome a new Marvel land?
