The Dixie Chicks seem to be right on the cusp of a comeback. They recently posted photos of Jack Antonoff, who’s produced songs for stars like Taylor Swift and Lorde.
On Aug. 1, Natalie Maines shared a picture of Antonoff playing the fiddle on her Instagram, reports Taste of Country. “Fiddle face,” she captioned.

She then posted another picture of a pair of feet with the caption, “Fiddle feet”. Though she didn’t specify who is playing, the matching caption implies it’s Antonoff in the studio with the band.
Maines has been teasing a Dixie Chicks reunion since June. Lately, she’s been using the hashtag #dcx2018, which is getting fans even more excited.
If the girls are teaming with a producer like Antonoff, it could be hinting towards a more pop-infused sound. As the producer has many, many hit songs under his belt, the Dixie Chicks are in great hands!
