Morgan Wallen is now on medically ordered 6 weeks of vocal rest. This comes after he canceled a show in Oxford, Mississippi on April 23rd because of vocal problems. He took ten days off then came back to do three shows in Florida. During the third show he noticed problems with his voice. The next day he went to see his doctors at the Vanderbilt Voice Center and they advised Morgan to go on complete vocal rest for the next six weeks. This means Morgan will miss at least 14 shows which he says will be made up. Kenny Chesney will be filling in for Morgan on two of those shows. The first is is the Gulf Coast Jam, Saturday, June 3rd in Panama City, Florida. The second is the Carolina Country Music Fest, Saturday, June 10th, in Myrtle Beach. Morgan will also miss Thursday night’s ACM Awards.
