Facts Of Life Cast Reuniting For Holiday Movie

They’re getting the band back together! “Facts Of Life,” stars Blair, Tootie, Joanne and Natalie are reuniting for a Christmas movie. Kim Fields (Tootie) is the director and according to people.com it was her idea to reach out to the other three. Lisa Whelchel, Nancy McKeon and Mindy Cohn all jumped on board for, “You Light Up My Christmas.” It premieres December 1st and is part of Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime,” holiday lineup.
What’s the plot? Besides directing Kim Fields plays the main character, Emma. She returns to her hometown to find that the fun Christmas loving town she used to know has changed. There’s a reunion with a former flame, a reunion with former friends (Blair, Tootie and Natalie), snow and Christmas magic. Actress Charlotte Rae who played Edna Garrett on “Facts Of Life,” passed away last year after battling cancer. In her honor she gets an ice skating rink named after her in the movie.
