Garth Brooks Announces New Song With Blake Shelton, “Dive Bar”

Get ready. Garth Brooks announced yesterday he has a new single on the way! But that’s not all. It’s a duet with Blake Shelton! “Dive Bar” will be released to radio June 18th. So less than 2 weeks! In an interview with ET, Brooks said it’s a summer anthem that could be as big as “Friends in Low Places.” Um, I HOPE so!

The press release reads, “Fans will get to hear the song for the first time live when he and Shelton perform the track at Brooks’ Boise, ID’s Albertsons Stadium show on July 19. Co-written by Mitch Rossell/Bryan Kennedy/Garth Brooks, “Dive Bar” is taken from his forthcoming studio album FUN.”
