Girl Scout Sent to Hospital After Rattlesnake Encounter in Carmichael

After an awards ceremony at the Effie Yeah playground in Carmichael, a Girl Scout between the ages of 8 and 8 was playing in the playground with her family. She picked up a large wooden stick and a baby rattlesnake was right under it. The baby rattlesnake bit her, sending her to the hospital. The injuries have been taken care of and luckily the young Girl Scout is now doing just fine.
