Hear Singer/Songwriter Nate Smith’s Tribute To His Hometown of Paradise

By kncitom on November 8, 2019

Nate Smith, who you may have seen (and been impressed by) at Country In The Park 2 last summer, stopped by our studios on the one year anniversary of the Camp Fire, which leveled his hometown of Paradise and killed 85 people. It was the deadliest wildfire in California in over a hundred years.

In the weeks following the fire, Nate, a singer-songwriter who is splitting his time these days between Chico and Nashville, coped with his world being turned upside down by writing a beautiful tribute to the memory of the place he grew up, and the resiliency of the people who called it home. He performed it in our studio.

And if you’d like see him perform it…you can: Nate will perform at Goldfield’s Nov 30th, and he will open for the Eli Young Band on Dec 7th at Ace of Spades. Or, you can just click below 🙂
