Jon Pardi Releases Video For “Ain’t Always The Cowboy”

Jon calls the song a “shout-out to all the girls out there chasing their dreams”

As the single steadily climbs up the country music charts, the video for Jon Pardi’s latest song has just been released.

“Ain’t Always The Cowboy” is the 2nd song from his latest album, Heartache Medication. Written by Josh Thompson and Brandon Kinney, it is a different spin on George Strait’s 1985 classic “This Is Where The Cowboy Rides Away”.

In a behind-the-scenes video, which you can see here, Jon says the song is about “a girl with her own dreams to chase and ain’t ready to settle down, and the cowboy ain’t mad about it“.
