The country community rallied around Kane Brown last night at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards. Chris Young brought Kane to the stage to accept his award, where Kane emotionally dedicated it to his late drummer Kenny Dixon, who passed away over the weekend in a car accident. Thomas Rhett spent the entirely of his acceptance speech lifting Kane and his family up. He even prayed for Kane, Kenny, and all of their friends and family while the audience joined in. Chris Young also dedicated his performance of “Drowning,” which is about losing a friend, to Kenny.
