Kellogg Is Recalling Over A Million Boxes Of This Cereal Due To Salmonella Risk

Noooo, not even cereal is safe from salmonella. Kellogg announced that they are recalling 1.3 million boxes of Honey Smacks cereal. Also, stores should be displaying signs informing the public.

According to NY Post, the recall is for boxes with use-by dates of June 14, 2018 through June 14, 2019. You can see the UPC codes in the photo below.

Symptoms of salmonella include diarrhea and abdominal cramps. Additionally, Kellogg has launched an investigation into the Honey Smacks manufacturer. So far, the cereal has been linked to at least 60 illnesses.
