2018 is starting off on a positive note for Maren Morris. She made her first No. 1 single with “I Could Use a Love Song” on the Mediabase chart.

She wrote on Instagram:

“43 weeks. Proud to be a woman today. To my amazing Columbia promo team, to country radio, to the fans, thank you for making ‘I Could Use A Love Song’ my first #1. Also, @jammyrabbins & @lauraveltz , I knew we found magic when we wrote this song 3 years ago. Let’s always start our writes with tequila.”

She co-wrote the song with Jimmy Robbins and Laura Veltz, reports Nash Country Daily. In addition, it’s also up for Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammys, which airs on Jan. 28.

This is something to celebrate since she absolutely deserves it!
