Singer Michael Ray has been arrested and charged with a DUI and drug possession, after being involved in a minor collision in fast food restaurant in Florida early this morning.
TMZ is reporting that Eustis, Florida police were called to the scene and found Ray slurring his speech and “reeking of alcohol”. A search of his vehicle also turned up marijuana oil. Officers say Ray told them he was coming home from a bar when his 2012 Jeep hit the car in front of him in a drive-through line. Nobody was injured.
Ray, who hit the country charts for the first time last year with “Think A Little Less”, has been released from jail, but so far has made no public comment about the incident.
