I know what you’re thinking, when did Bill Gates starting buying groceries for everyone? Well it’s not Bill Gates or some other billionaire, it’s actually a small-town man named Toshua Parker. He lives in a remote part of Alaska fully dependant on a weekly ferry to bring supplies, including food, to the town but due to the pandemic and budget cuts the ferry is not running. So Toshua and his fellow employees make the trek once a week to Juneau to get supplies for the little town! Because of their location it takes a full day to make the round trip, including a significant portion by sea. So here’s to Toshua and his family helping to keep his little town of Gustavus, Alaska humming along amid all the chaos! Read More HERE!
