Popular Sacramento Restaurant Bandera Will Close In June

After more than 20 years in business, Bandera has announced that they will close up shop next month. The restaurant has been a staple of the University Village Shopping Center, or the UV.
Bandera To Close Location in University Village
There have been conflicting reports on the nature of the closure. Sacramento Bee stated failing negotiations with the landlord as the reason. However, the Sacramento Business Journal claims the decision came from the restaurant’s parent company in Beverly Hills.
“They have told us that the UV is not really consistent with their long-term direction,” the managing director for the landlord wrote.
No exact date has been set yet for the last day of business for Bandera. But, it looks like it will be sometime in mid-June. So, if you love Bandera, you better get a last taste while you can.
