Sacramento Indie Film ‘Lady Bird’ Scores Golden Globe Nominations

Yay! Congrats again to Sacramento-based film Lady Bird.

Yay! Congrats again to Sacramento-based film Lady Bird. The movie scored 4 Golden Globe nominations this morning! Saoirse Ronan is up for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Laurie Metcalf is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. Sacramento-native Greta Gerwig got a nom for Best Screenplay, while the film itself will compete for Best Musical or Comedy. So if you’re from Sacramento and haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting on?! The Oscar noms are next! I’m optimistic.
