The main concern here is that no matter what stance you take, or wherever you are, around 10am, students will be staging walkouts and will be walking around, so please be careful, especially if you are driving.
That being said, according to SacBee.com many Sacramento schools join in the national walkout to call for immediate gun safety changes. These schools include Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, McClatchy High School in Carmichael, even Del Dayo Elementary School joins in walking out to the flagpole at 10am this morning. More than 30 schools in the Sacramento region join in the 17 minute protest, in wake of the 17 students killed in the Parkland High School massacre.
